Growing up can bring big emotions for kids of all ages. These feelings are all a normal part of adjusting to different stages of childhood and adolescence.

How well kids are able to manage their emotions is largely due to the safety of their environment. Parents play an important role in creating that safe place where kids can feel comfortable sharing their feelings — even the scary ones.
