Smartphones: friend or foe?
Given that the average American spends over five hours a day using it, that always-within-reach-smartphone has proven to be a tempting time-waster.
Attention-seeking notifications, news and entertainment all at our fingertips make it difficult to break the “doomscroll” habit.
But if you feel the mental weight of too much time spent on your phone, there are steps to take to use your time in other productive or mindful ways.
