How to be a mental health check-in champion 🏆
Mind Matters
with Shawna Sielert, LPC
Think of a person in your life who’s always smiling, laughing and lighting up a room. Have you ever suspected they could be struggling with their mental health? It’s not likely.
The truth is, mental illness doesn’t always look like we think it will. Even trained professionals can’t read minds — but sharing when we’re struggling with mental illness is not easy. As family, friends and even acquaintances, we have the power to look out for each other by becoming “check-in champions.”

Here’s Lucet’s Shawna Sielert (Licensed Professional Counselor) with practical ways we can create an everyday environment that supports even those we may never have realized were suffering in silence.
