With countless mothers making the world go round day in and day out, it’s easy to forget just how much of an undertaking being a mom is.
Motherhood changes a life forever — the physical toll of pregnancy, the mental toll of caregiving, and the continued expectations of society to be “perfect” for your kids are some of the weightiest responsibilities a person can face. And they make it look easy!
One of the ways we can thank the moms and mother-figures in our lives is to encourage them to accept help. Whether they are struggling with postpartum depression or simply the daily, lifelong expectation to give, give, give, there is help out there for mothers’ mental wellness.
